Talented (Talented Saga, #1)Talented by Sophie Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So, OMG, I just finished reading Talented. It is my first book by Sophie Davis, and while it does end in a cliffhanger, which normally automatically makes me not continue with a series, it takes nothing away from the story.

The character development and plot here are so good, that the cliffhanger doesn’t matter. The author has penned this tale so well that you fell all the action and emotion right from the beginning and I literally could not stop reading this and finished in just a few hours.

I cannot wait to read the next part, and am in fact “borrowing it through KU” as soon as I finish my review. This is one heck of a thrill ride.

Rosinanti (The Rosinanti Series Book 1)Rosinanti by Kevin J. Kessler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is how you write a book, and it’s his debut. To say I was instantly mesmerized by these characters is an understatement! The character development is spot on, and the world is developed in such a fantastic way that it’s as if you can actually feel the environment all around you. This book is truly an escape. My favorite line in the book is ” If you touch him again I will electrocute you until you soil yourself”. That comes from one kick butt heroine. I truly love this story and these characters. Especially Valentean and Seraphina.

Then there are the wonderfully built creatures of this world, the “stone bear”, hands down favorite. Then there’s dragons, oh yeah, dragons, beautifully descriptive dragons. This book really has it all, and could hold its own against any of the big names in the genre.

I look forward to reading more from this author and this series. There is so much potential for more stories here.

I received an advanced reader copy of this title and was eager to review it. The opinion is all my own.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a wonderfully fleshed out, totally original world! I loved this book so much that I wish I could give it a hundred stars! It’s just that good. The character development is phenomenal and completely on par with the Harry Potter series, although I found I liked it a lot more. The author has such a gift of creating such a vivid and engrossing plot line , that I couldn’t stop reading. I look forward to reading more from this author. SHE ROCKS!

The Vampire Hunter's Daughter: Complete Collection (The Vampire Hunter's Daughter, #1-6)The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter: Complete Collection by Jennifer Malone Wright
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I love YA books, but the writing here, unfortunately is atrocious! The grammar isn’t even an elementary school level. It does move really fast, which is great, because once I begin reading a book I am invested and have to finish. I am not sure how this title accrued so many good reviews, it boggles my mind. I must now seek out something else she has written for comparison. Grab it if it’s free. Pass if it isn’t.

Blood and Guts - Left for Dead: A Romantic SuspenseBlood and Guts – Left for Dead: A Romantic Suspense by Gabi Moore
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved it! It was a bit different than what I have come to expect from this author, but at the same time it is exactly what I expect from this author. Truly one of the best! Kept me enthralled till the end!
I voluntarily received a Digital review copy of this title and couldn’t wait to review it.

The Vampire's DaughterThe Vampire’s Daughter by Leigh Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was the first book that I had read from this author, and I had heard really good things about it, and was eager to read it. I felt that the plot was both well fleshed out and that character dialogue flowed smoothly. The chemistry between the characters was also well written without being overly sexual. I liked the story very much and hope to read something by this author again soon.

I was given a copy of this book by Red Empress Publishing, and I wanted to post a review about it.
